Our partnership with Sankalp India Foundation

Since 2013 Cure2Children has been collaborating with Sankalp India Foundation (SIF), an outstanding not-for-profit organization composed of like-minded brilliant young IT engineers from Bangalore who got together with the aim of stopping avoidable deaths due to lack of blood in Karnataka (the state of which Bangalore is the capital). During this endeavour they came across many patients with thalassemia and luckily for these patients and for Cure2Children, they also included prevention and cure of thalassemia among their primary objectives. Since then SIF, in collaboration with C2C, has started many thalassemia centres and bone marrow transplant (BMT) services in India affecting the lives of thousands of patients with thalassemia. Two BMT centers have been launched so far, one at People Tree Hospital @ Yeshwanthpur-Bangalore and one at CIMS Hospital-Ahmedabad.
We are very proud to say that all 33 patients transplanted in these centres since April of this year with our latest treatment approach are doing well.
