New transplant center

Bangalore, India. On April 14, 2023 representatives from EBMT, DKMS and Cure2Children, handed over the certificate of completion for the EBMT Middle-Income Countries Pediatric Advanced Care Training (EMPACT) 2021-2022 A pilot educational program endorsed by the Paediatric Diseases Working Party of the European Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group (EBMT) and supported by DKMS and Cure2Children. This program started June 1, 2021, was carried out in Indian and Pakistani transplant centers, and has seen the contribution of many international pediatric transplant nurses and physicians. A formal scientific report describing the course objectives and achievements is underway.
