A few days ago it was my birthday,  Monica and some other friends organized a surprise birthday party for me, in solidarity!

Obviously I was very emotional when I saw all the friends who were waiting for me, as I arrived at the home of Enza.   Lawrence and Laura had also come from Florence, and they went back the same evening.

Last year I had the idea of launching solidarity birthdays (I was the first one to do it for my birthday) and I am pleased that the idea is spreading even to surprise parties, which is really great.
We also collected a significant amount, and I sincerely want to thank all of my friends for their generosity and support for Cure2Children.

There are things that you can’t buy, but for everything else there is ‘Mastercard!

The Minister for Youth gives Patronage to Solidarity Birthday’s

by Eugenio La Mesa

Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri - Ministro della Gioventù

The Italian Minister for Youth has given her patronage to solidarity birthday’s for Cure2Children, also highlighting it as an educational and social activity and an example for all young Italians, including young couples with children.

On behalf of all the staff at Cure2Children, we would like to thank first of all  Minister Giorgia Meloni,  press officer Valeria Falcone as well as Massimiliano Benga and Raffaella Calabretta from San Leone Magno.

It’s the cause of great satisfaction for us to see that in only a few months since the first solidarity birthday, which was designed and promoted by Cure2Children, that there has been national support, also due to the originality of our proposal, which from the beginning has had Lino Banfi as it’s testimonial, who is also a UNICEF ambassador.
